Design and Visualization for Network Science

Since his work at Nokia Research as a visualization designer and developer, Deepak has sought to create tools that allow us to uncover the hidden value of large mobile data sets. At the MIT Media Lab, Deepak works in the Macro Connections group to build rich visualizations and experimental systems that connect us with our social data and with each other.

Using the CrowdSignals Data

Deepak will use data from the CrowdSignals Campaign in a variety of visualization and interaction projects.

CrowdSignals Endorsement

"I'm a huge fan of the project because it's going to offer data in many layers - usually it's only one layer, just sensor data or just user interaction data, but here's a chance for us to get data from a lot of users for all of these layers. You could learn very many interesting things from it"
